I love to be about the work of Jesus our Christ in service to others. I am currently serving others in Kansas City through a hygiene/ clothing ministry at Trinity United Methodist Church. I am also involved in a housing ministry, the Fellowship of John which is a 501c3 that provides for elderly people who run out of resources. In keeping with Jesus’ way of teaching, I facilitate Bible and devotional studies at Foxwood and in homes.
I love to study the scriptures in groups with different backgrounds, which offer different pathways to understanding. I like when discussions in Bible studies take off in directions I might not necessarily think of, but which I feel are led by the Holy Spirit for those seeking deeper spiritual knowledge of their own faith journeys. One of the highlights of teaching is seeing the awe in the one who finally comprehends the awesomeness of God and the light of Christ.

Rusty came across Northern Boulevard United Methodist Church through her family that attends there. She quickly felt right at home and was called by God to take on this role. She is a woman of Christ who loves everyone for who they are!
