02/25/25 "And if not, He is still Good."

Sometimes, in our lives, things just don't make sense. One big thing being when things don't go the way we thought they would, or how we wanted them to. Sometimes we don't get that job, sometimes our marriages don't work out, sometimes a loved one passes away for too soon. We all face so many things that seem to come without reason.... But there is a purpose in the pain. God reminds us of this in Isaiah 66:9 when he says "I will not cause pain without allowing something new to be born,”. We don't always understand, but we do know that God's plans are better than anything we could ever plan for ourselves. He will never let us down. We have to cling to the promise that God will never allow us to go through trials without something wonderful awaiting us on the other side of them. We belong to a God of Promise, who loves us beyond comprehension. God is good all the time. Even when life doesn't make sense, we know, that He is still good.
